Accepted artists will work closely with our MAA platform at Artsy.net. We will establish a profile and upload artwork for each chosen artist, which will bring a global spotlight dedicated to showcasing their work at Artsy.net. There are 10 opportunities in total.

Eligible Artists

• Visual Artists 18 years and older from any country are eligible to submit.

• Artists of all academic disciplines are welcome to apply. Your artwork can be in any medium, including, but not limited to, painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography, textile, installation, film, digital, and any mixed media.

• Artists or any art organizations on behalf of artists from all countries are welcome to submit.

Requirements (Submission Guidelines)

• Artists may submit up to 5 images (for an individual work, or multiple works) for consideration.

• Artists must ensure the high quality of images. (The ideal image should have a resolution of at least 250 dpi, with a maximum of 3000 pixels on the larger side), and should not exceed 16 MB in file size.

• Artist statement and biography must be up to 400 words written directly to the form (please do not copy/paste your CV or list of shows).

• There is no specific theme for this open call.

Selected Artists

Once your work is selected, there is no additional fee for showcasing. You will be responsible for shipping your artwork to us when an online purchase order is made. We will:

1. Display your artwork at Artsy.net (3,000,000+ unique monthly visitors from 190+ countries) till August 2025. We will provide:

   • Build your Artsy artist profile

   • Upload your artwork

2. Take care of transactions, documentation, and more, including:

   • Tax, invoice, certification, payment, etc.

Important Dates

Submission Deadline: October 15th, 2024, 11:59 pm EST.

• All artists will be notified of the final decision by the end of November 30th, 2024. If your work is selected, you will receive further information.

* Depending on the status of submissions, the deadline may be earlier or later.

A non-refundable submission fee is required for each submission.

Agreement

MAA reserves the right to use images of the artwork on its website and social media. By submitting artwork via this call, the artist agrees to the terms outlined above.
